Help spread the word!

As everyone knows by now, our latest album Our Long Road Home is officially mixed and mastered. The album as a whole takes you on a journey that expresses many different moods and feelings. This isn't a "metal" album or a "pop" album or an "alternative" album or whatever people are calling music these days... It's a Taproot album, and if you're familiar with our previous bodies of work, you'll know what we mean. We haven't so much "redefined" ourselves with this album, but rather defined ourselves more. You get to know a little bit more about us and see our growth as people and musicians. As our fans you have been a part of this journey as much as we have, and it's been your help and undying support that has gotten us to where we are now. Having been a minute since we've released new music, we would love to see all of you die-hards continue to spread the word. Send a blank email to taproot@velvethammer.net and they'll give you details as to how to help. We're ramping it back up again, dropping a new song is just the beginning... -Taproot

I hope you guys come to your senses and get that new song OFF your myspace. Its giving the new cd a really bad name and the word is spreading. I hate being embarrassed for you but come on! Are you trying to make money, get new fans, be creative, or just spiral further into shit? Because only the latter is going to happen from this.

Im dying to know if that youtube clip you gave us where the drummer is listening to a mixed demo and smiles and says thats awesome. Its a heavy song and have been waiting for the final product. Did that make the cut by any chance?
